Location: Dingley Village, VIC 3172
Term: T3 2023 - T4 2024 - view to extend ongoing
Availability: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays

Position Overview
As a Cecchetti Teacher at Mathis Dance Studios, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of young dancers. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the Cecchetti method and possess a deep understanding of ballet technique. You will be responsible for conducting engaging and challenging ballet classes that cater to students from Pre-Primary to Grade 3. You will be instrumental in preparing students for examinations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Cecchetti ballet classes that focus on technique, artistry, and musicality.
Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them improve their skills and reach their full potential.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and self-confidence.
Collaborate with fellow instructors and management team to contribute to the overall growth and continued development of the dance program.
Stay updated with current developments in ballet education and teaching methodologies.
Adequately prepare students for Cecchetti examinations.
Application Process
Interested candidates are invited to submit their resumes, a cover letter detailing their experience and teaching philosophy, and any relevant certifications. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to teach trial classes during Term 4, 2023, to demonstrate their teaching style and approach. The successfully appointed candidate will commence teaching classes in December 2023.
